Standing On The Edge Of The World – 2026

The fifth album from Simon London + the Spirits.

The album showcases the wide songwriting palette of Simon’s work with the Spirits, from the rousing anthemic title track Standing On The Edge Of The World, to the urgent guitar-driven dirge of Clean Break, the intimacy of Nothing and the expansive landscapes of Break of Day and Oceans Away.

The album and its songs mostly revolve around the passing of the Spirits’ founding drummer – a narrative that is offered up as two album ‘sides’ – a before and after journey through the turmoil, grace, loss, love, redemption and peace that orbit around losing your oldest friend and this thing we call life.

Recorded and mixed by James Newhouse
Mastered by William Bowden

Mark Gretton – drums, piano, rhodes, percussion, vocals
Simon London – vocals and guitars
